Christmas Photography Oshawa is the busiest time of the year for us. Our photography special events are usually our busiest sessions we hold throughout the year. There is no wonder that it is busy. Families are looking to make memories and traditions for Christmas. Christmas is the guaranteed one time of the year where families are looking to get together and celebrate each other and therefore are wanting portraits of themselves.
For the Christmas season this year we are offering a couple different options for family photography experiences.

Blackstock Christmas Tree Farm Sessions
Blackstock Christmas Tree Farm Sessions are held at Blackstock Tree Farm in Blackstock Ontario. These sessions are very popular for our outdoor Christmas sessions. The tree farm sessions have some versatility depending on the look families are looking for. Certain families like to make it a little fun and dress in matching pajamas. Other families make it more formal and dress in Christmas wear.
There is also versatility with the weather. We try to book a date on the farm before the snow flies and one date after the snow flies, also giving different looks, therefore versatility. We try to reserve our warmer weather sessions for the families with the younger children. This is for the children’s comfort but of course depending on the look a family is looking for.
Christmas Photography Oshawa | Christmas Box Sessions
Christmas Box Sessions are our most popular Christmas photography sessions. These session are so unique and different from a normal family posed Christmas session. Christmas Box Sessions are fun and fresh and give families a chance to be themselves, therefore are loved by families. We have many families that come year after year making it a Christmas tradition for them.
What is a Christmas Box Session?
A Christmas Box Session is literally a person sitting in a box lifted off the ground doing a variety of poses. For the photography safety of babies we do not photograph babies that are not able to sit on own unless family member are being involved in the session and are able to hold them. The box is 4’x4′ in size therefore can get a bit squishy the more people that are in the box together.
We take a variety of images and make it fun. Children can be themselves, we laugh and use Christmas props to bring out everyones personality.
Once the images are completed families are sent online the collection of unedited images to pick the favorite 9 images for a 9×9 image collage. We then merge all those 9 images together to make a collage.
