Our Oshawa newborn portrait sessions is a luxury photography experience. Our goal is to not only preserve those precious memories of this monumental time in your lives but to create a comfortable, safe atmosphere for everyone involved in the session.
At LRP we have a home based studio that has everything needed to create a beautiful portrait session. Forgot diapers, no problem we have you covered! Need to warm your baby’s milk, no problem! Not only will we create the most beautiful images of the people you care for the most but we want everyone to have the best possible experience at our home based studio. Steps to a Newborn Portrait Session
Step One | Initial Phone Call
All our portrait sessions begin with a 10-15 minute phone call. During this phone call we will discuss wants and needs for your session and decide on a appointment date and time for a pre-consultation.
Step Two | Zoom Pre-Consultation Appointment
Our pre-consultation meeting involves a zoom video call that last approximately 45 minutes. This pre-consultation is to go over designing of your personalized session. During this video call we will design the session and go over colour preferences, props, products I offer, pricing, wardrobe, preferred images, contract and then book the session officially. Date is booked for due date and adjusted after your baby arrives.
Step Three | Portrait Session
This is the day the magic happens. After arrival, the day starts with breakfast for the family, during this time we get younger siblings comfortable with the studio and allow them to acclimate to their surroundings. Portraits usually start with family images, then sibling, then baby alone. This allows for parents to take sibling out of the studio if needed. Once session is finished images are ready to be viewed and viewing appointment is booked for approximately 1-2 weeks after portrait session.
Step Four | Zoom Ordering Appointment
This appointment may be booked for a virtual meeting or an in-studio meeting to view your images for the first time. At that time, we go over the images together and selections are made for preferred images and products. During this appointment you are invoiced for purchases and payment is made.
Step Five | Product Pick Up Appointment/Digital Product Delivery
Personal delivery is made once all products arrive. Items are then inspected to ensure you are happy with your purchases. At this time, we also go over how to care for your products therefore ensuring archival longevity. Delivery times do vary depending on products and materials.
