Photography contact of a photographer can be difficult with the ever growing market of “photographers” in business today.  With the ever growing accessibility of digital cameras as well as photography software, there is an ever expanding list of photographers in the market that are opening businesses.  With this influx of amateur photographers it can be difficult to decide on who to use as a photographer.  Finding that reputable company that fits all your families photography needs and wants is proving to be ever difficult therefore you should come equipped with some things to consider before contacting photographers to be able to rule out the professionals from the amateurs.

Photography contact of Oshawa photographers can feel impossible unless you know what you are looking for.  I always think to myself what I hope to accomplish out of a service I am looking to hire before the initial contact because if I didn’t whats the point of contact?  For example, if you are looking for a newborn photography session say so in your initial form of contact.

There is nothing more frustrating for Oshawa photographers when we get a “looking to book an Oshawa photography session” on my voicemail or email.  My initial response is “great! but what type of session?” and then usually ensues a back and forth of messages asking questions.  Don’t get me wrong I love answering questions but if a client isn’t armed with the right questions then it turns into a waste of time for everyone involved and lets be real, in this day and age time is precious.

Styles of photography are very personalized to each photographer.  For example, some Oshawa photographers have a rich and moody style like myself.  If a client contacts me and hires me for a oshawa photography session but they prefer light and airy type images, no one is going to be happy with the result.  As part of Oshawa photographers, I assume clients have researched my images, and as a result have hired me for my style of imagery.  The same goes for types of posing styles.

Don’t get me wrong, some clients don’t know the difference in styles, however, try to at least have an idea of what you like so a photographer may help you figure it out.  This may make the difference between images you don’t prefer to images you love.

Oshawa photographers all have different photography services pricing.  Some are on the lower end and on the other hand some are on the higher end.  Portrait photography pricing is very subjective due to costs of business, and expertise.   There are product portrait photographers like myself, that sell wall art and prints.  As well as there are digital image photographers that sell only digital image files for social media and sceens.  Know what format you are looking for ahead of time.  If you absolutely don’t want a certain format don’t waste your time contacting a photography business that doesn’t offer that option.

Certain photographers also lump their pricing in full packages in others words you invest one price for everything.  Other photographers have seperate pricing for session fees and then images are purchased seperately.  By all means if you have no preference contact whomever you feel you want to but try to have an idea of what is included with a photographers pricing and packages.
